About

Google Wave is a web-based tool that allows users to communicate and collaborate with one another in real-time with text, photos, videos, and much more. Even though Wave is fairly easy to sum up in a sentence, because it’s new and such a different piece of technology, it’s fairly difficult to understand.

Our names are Brett and Ian and we’re the brothers behind this blog. Over the past ten years, we’ve not only been involved with a variety of website projects, some of which supply a full-time income, but we also have enjoyed watching the internet evolve in its communication over the past 10 years–from online journals and blogs to Facebook and MySpace.

So we’re excited to see how Google Wave will shape the way we communicate. And this is where gwTips comes in.

gwTips is a place where we can learn about and experience Google Wave together. Here, you’ll find tips on the ins and outs of Google Wave and articles on how to use Google Wave. Hopefully, gwTips serves as a place where we learn more about Google Wave as we experience this new piece of technology together.

If you are interested in learning about Google Wave together with us, we would love to invite you to have you as a gwTips subscriber for free. You can also follow us at @gwtips on Twitter.
