Well they are just translation bots. They may always commit errors with translations such as the meaning of the original document does not follow to the translated document but anyhow, they still provide quick services like when translating a phrase of different language from a chatroom you are in.

I discovered Wave a few days ago with a bunch of friends and have been trying a few things with it. So far, we’re only four/five active users, but I’m pretty optimistic.
I discovered Wave’s an advantageous alternative to MSN for what I call ESC (Earth-Shattering Conversations – conversations about deep subjects such as art’s true nature). You can split topics by blips, and you can take your time to write answers without having to fear losing ideas because you can simply put them in other blips.
Incidentally, it’s also pretty good for sharing pictures – so far, it’s our most active Wave with over 50 pictures in 24 hours.

Oh, its a new knowledge for me that anyone can access Google Wave now. But Google Wave is not making a big Wave as I thought earlier. I don’t think they can replace mail protocol.

ok – took a stab at setting up a bicycle route using maps in wave – 1st, bike route overlay not available and this ride is a combo of bike pats and roads; 2nd ads cover 1/4 of the map which is not at all helpful.

So I cannot figure out how to make wave useful for the only collaboration project I have immediately at hand.

You can also cut and paste superscript/subscript in, you just aren’t able to do it using the formatting options on the toolbar.

There is also a robot for citations (It automatically searches pubmed – but you can use your own links by entering
(cite http://yourlinkhere.com/xyz/page)

You can do more than exporting a wave to google docs : you can have a wave and a doc *synced* using Ferry, ferrybot@appspot.com !

You can also import/export to and from .docx files using docXwave, docxwave@appspot.com
